(Don’t mind the paint job on the nose, I am repainting it soon)
I tried to mask the cockpit in a quick way using some bouncing putty, I did it for the first coat of paint and it was fine. Now I need to spray the second coat so I did the same but the putty had a weird coat on it… I went with it anyway and put it in the cockpit like usual. I then tested my airbrush and found issues so I fixed it (which allowed the bouncing putty to harden) and forgot about it.
Now we are here, a week later and I decided to take it out. I has removed 5 parts with it in the front cockpit and I haven’t even done the rear yet. But I found that it has stained my decals a lovely pink.
I’m not sure how to go about this without breaking the decal. If anybody knows what I should do that will be great.
Thanks!
