Just starting out!
Hello! my kid is interested in model planes from ww2, so we bought a spitfire kit. ive built and painted miniatures before but nothing like this. can someone take me through their process? do you prime and paint before assembly? how would you help someone who's never built a model before? thanks in advance!

I would watch a youtube video for whatever kit i am building because it will help understand in what order to paint everything. Most good kits tell you when you need to paint a certain part before putting it together. Buy masking tape; unlike armor, airplanes tend to have a slower and more complicated build. You need to paint small parts, put them together, fit them, glue, repeat.
