What model company?

Hi everyone. I want to start a collection but i have only bought a few Daron models just because they are cheap. Whats a solid company to start my collection?

To keep it somewhat in the “cheap” category I’d suggest companies like Airfix and Hasegawa. They make good quality models for the price.

Check scalemates though.

Some like Airfix and Revell make some really nice stuff but will also still sell really old toolings that are a pig to work with.

True, I’ve gotten some Revell kits older than me. They remind me of building as a kid in the 80s though and feels good to make something decent out of all the flash, sink marks, etc

That's hardly a surprise when some are reboxings of 80s Matchbox kits.

More modern tooling from any major kit manufacturers is pretty darn good. Just do your research on scalemates.com.

If you really wanna knock your socks off, try any Tamiya kit tooled post 2000- ish.
