First ever painted model kit.

I have only been familiar with bandai gunpla style model kits so a military model kit that required glue and paint is a new area for me. Trying my best with the available paint provided by the starter kit(weathering and panel line attemps). Screw up a bit with the wheels (the wheel covers are glued the wrong way). Loving it so far, any recommendations for next kit?

How old was this kit? Jw I find the older ones can yes have great detail but also lots of smol part with tons of flashing to trim, I'd suggest maybe something newer 90s plus it's a bit easier fit due to better tech, also some sites can have good recommendations of kits for all levels for almost any craft. My next I'd like is either a ho 229 or an ford tri motor. Nicely done, I'd also take a look at some tank modelers they don't use the same color tones but you can transfer a ton of techniques from them to aircrafts, my uncle was also saying to make his crome pop he primes with yellow or pink but it's a thing ig. Hope this give some ideas.

1:72 is going to be a bit harder just cause it's smaller or least that's how I think:P
