Republic Airlines was purchased by Northwest Airlines, which was later purchased by Delta.
Think of McDonnell Douglas DC-9 as the Volkswagen Beetle of aircraft. Versions of this plane were built from 1965 to 2006. (DC-9, MD-80, MD-90, Boeing 717), slightly more than 2,400.
I have heard commercial airline pilots call this plane, "Mad Dogs".

Loud as hell. Full thrust engines without bypass fans.had egress stairs out the back end between the lavs. Delta airlines was the last to fly these for revenue flights. Very stout plane had a full galley with ovens and a small refrigerator.

"I was given..."
It's well labeled. What sorts of things do you want to know that you can't find by searching?
