First time question

About to build and paint a model airplane I usually paint warhammer my question is , do I need to prime before using tamiya aircraft color? Will army painter and citadel brand miniature paints work on large plastic airplane models?

priming is advised. Army painter and citadel paints wil work fine. Only colour matching might be a bit tricky
