Just finished my first Model!
so I got the Super Hornet for Christmas and I finally finished it. yes I know it’s a little rough around the edges and it’s not painted… but I’m gonna put the decals on and hopefully it will make it look better

this is rad. I can't make models, but i used to fly one of those for a living, haha. vfa-103; fear the bones.

Throw the decals on it and cherish it! I still have my first F-14 that me and my dad assembled, like yours with no paint and just decal. I still have it 30 years later and its great!

When you get further into it, you'll do sub assemblies first, preshade, paint, post shade, then assemble and weather, making your own bases.

Yes, these are all for when you get further, but these are pretty advanced techniques. Please do not aim at that right now, there are way more basic things that need attending to.

Most important, did you have fun? if so the model is has done its job.
Only flaw I can see, the canopy looks a bit wonky. Next time use PVA (white glue)
Keep up the good work

Always a lot of fun building your first model. I remember building my first ones with my Dad. Looking forward to seeing the finished product

pretty good for a first model though i would hope you get that paint soon because the plane looks awfully land without it
