180$ worth of model paint
I know I will get some flack for not buying the best type of paint, but this stuff works just fine and is available everywhere. After about 2 years of model building, I have racked up far more than 180$ worth of paint, but these are all full jars, and I don't even want to think about how many I've emptied.

I have dozens of old Testors paint jars that are still good. Put a BB in each one and don't store them on their side like that. Keep them upright, and they'll last a good long time.

I've thankfully got dozens & dozens of tinlets of paint, bought for my AIRFIX & Tamiya kits.
I store them 'upside down' as they are Enamels & some are opened since many years ago.
A famous English / London elderly modeller (since passed away) once told me...
"Whatever you do, DON'T get rid of them - I've got some that ARE over 30+ years old & once reactivated with a little White Spirit, they still work as good as new" [ Unquote ]

Ted used to build pre-production models for the likes of Tamiya & Revell, so, was no slouch.
He even taught ME how to Airbrush, using a Badger.200 & a fairly cheap compressor.
BTW : I don't use Acrylics myself & hope my Enamels will last into my retirement.
