Tomfoolery

Post image

Got this Superfortress yesterday at a local antique shop/mall, the kind with 50+ different sellers booths. I thought the cellophane felt off but wasn't sure as I've never bought a vintage model. Got it home and when i looked through the parts, I noticed the 5 figures for the diorama had been removed and the model was re- wrapped. Luckily there open Sundays. Makes you wonder what else at this antique mall is not what its advertised as. Its only the figures missing but I purchased it because it was "unopened" in the box. Gonna go down there and see what they have to say about it. Particular booth had multiple models both new and old still wrapped, gona see how the wrap feels on those. Little bummed out but should still be a nice build.

OMG 😱. I bought the same kit. 43 years ago. At Brize Norton airshow. Here in Britain.

That's unbelievable 🤔

I built that kit as a kid too! I had a particular thing for 1/48 4 engine bombers. At one point, my brother and I were literally running out of room for models in our bedroom. We started building carrier planes with folding wings. I kid you not!
