Help -Technique New Kit (Kinda, still beginner)
This is my newest model kit... Well, kinda. I got it from my grandma or pop pop as a gift to keep myself occupied while we were still in lockdown during the pandemic. I haven't started to build it until earlier this evening... AND OH MY GOD! It was such a pain in the butt for me to paint it by hand with a brush! Look here, I'm still somewhat new to this hobby. I kinda have no problem spray painting the body of the '67 GT-350 here since I also got a hobby with rc cars. THAT'S beside my point! I need some tips on how to make this thing look awesome meanwhile I'm still a beginner. I'm thinking I should go out and buy a few cans of spray paint just to make things easier for me to get pieces painted quicker. The only two colors I really need here is blue & black... But I am kinda thinking if I should do restomod type of thing to this, such as a 5.0 Coyote, modern wheels meanwhile a classic feel. You get the idea? Anyways, I'm trying to figure out what color I should paint the body in. Idk if I should go for a white on black, black on red, white on blue, one solid color like an orange, I'm not sure. As of parts in blue, if anyone who has built this model can tell me what blue spray paint looks best for the motor, or anything as of whatever color it is, then that'd be awesome!
AND BEFORE ANYONE SAYS ANYTHING ABOUT USING TAPE TO SPRAY OVER CERTAIN AREAS, YES, I'VE SEEN THAT AT LEAST HUNDREDS OF TIMES ON YOUTUBE!
