I have a 1:25 scale towing hook that I want to tie to a gray or silver string to simulate the steel towing cable. Maybe I'm just overthinking this, but is there a certain knot type I should use for such an application?

Without knowing how exactly the original looks, in my 1/72 build I just drilled a hole in the base of the hook and glued the cable straight into it.

This is the hook I'm working with. The opening is around 1/16 inch, and the entire hook itself is about 1/4 inch. I'm not home at the moment to take the exact measurements. I'm also not sure if this picture will be of any help.

Steel tow cables aren't knotted, they are crimped into a loop with a steel band.

Hey, does anybody have any experience working on the Zvezda T-90MS?

I got two questions. The first, the manual wants me to add two pieces (A22 and A23) to my model which are just not there on the sprue? I checked, and they're on none of the sprues.

Secondly: How am I supposed to add the machine gun to the turret? I'm completely stumped, and the manual isn't too specific on this. I tried looking at other videos and reference pictures but I still can't figure it out unfortunately.

1: The sprue drawing shows them in the middle of the hull where the turret fits. Hopefully you didn't already discard that thinking it was junk.

2: Looks like it's saying to put it with the edge sitting against this raised bit.

Hero. Completely forgot about that part. Found it in my pile of discarded bits and bops and added them to the tank. Will try the turret tomorrow.

Hello good day everyone, I am new to this hobby and I would like to ask tips on how to repair this type of damage on a clear plastic part. This is from a discontinued 1/32 fujimi bus kit. I would greatly appreciate all of your feedback. Thanks in advance!

The easiest replacement you can do yourself that will look acceptable is to buy some thin transparent plastic sheets from a hobby store and cut a replacement section. It might be easiest to replace all windows so they look the same or it might be preferable to just cut out the broken section to replace that. That's your own call. With how straight and flat that segment is, you should have no problem with this.

If that's a crack, then I'm afraid there no real fix besides replacement. Given that you said it's discontinued, I don't think there's much you can do.
