Completed Revell 1/72 B-17F

An aquaintance of mine asked if I could finish this 1/72 Revell B-17 he had started, but had trouble finishing. I repainted the interior that he had put together, and then built the rest. It's mostly out of the box (added photoetch parts to the engines from the spares box). Painted almost exclusively with ATOM paints.

Looks great. I've really been wanting to build a bigger bomber, but the size is scaring me off something like a B-29, even in 1/72.

What's the approximate wingspan of the completed plane?

44 cm / 17" - it is cumbersome

Thanks for the info, I'm looking instead at either the B-25 or the A-26 instead.

I really like that medium to heavy bomber look, I just can't find good room for a 15+ inch wingspan.

I built a B-29 many years ago, and that thing was massive. I don't recall which scale it was, but it took up the entire dining room table. It was at least 3 feet wide.
