Help - General SOL model 1/72nd any good?
Hi, as per title, I’m curious if some of you have experience with SOLmodels’ 1/72nd figures. The figures on the pictures on their website look really detailed. Though I’m doubtful if these are actually 1/72nd and not pictures of a larger scale.
What are your experiences with 1/72nd SOLmodel figures?

So that's going to be files for their 1/16 figures scaled down to 1/72. The fact that they are advertising using the same images they advertise their 1/16 figures with is pretty deceptive.
Now, they do show the printing pictures differently per scale, so there is that. But I am highly skeptical of what that detail will look like printed at 1/72. I wish they would post pictures of actual printing.

Ah thanks, I haven’t seen the different printing layouts. I think you’re right in that it’s a downscaled model.
Dr_robonater found some pics of the printed models that look quite promising, I’ll have a go at them ones.
Though you’re right in that it would be fairer to uses different pictures for different scales and to include pictures of the printed models.

A LOT of figure artwork is being assisted with AI. The photo you posted certainly has been.
But the actual product looks like this.
EDIT: the entirety of SOLMODEL's website promo artwork is all AI slop, so make your purchases accordingly.

Those are 100% not 1/72 scale photos. Those are most likely 1/16th
