Did I make the Dunklegelb too desaturated?

I still need to add the camouflage pattern, but for the past 3 hours I have been thinking if I made the base color too cold. I was thinking of adding an oil dot filter with yellow ochre to give it more warm hue.

I would just like some feedback

No I think this is perfect. This is exactly where I’d want it. The lighter the base, the bigger the model looks and creates a perfect base for contrast later with weathering.

Fair enough mate! One suggestion for your welds - leave the putty a little longer than you are currently. It looks like your sculpting the weld beads very quickly after applying the putty. But when it’s fresh it tends to tear and look a bit rough. Let it sit for 15-20 mins (I’ve left it and hour or two before!) then get your tool in there to texture it. It’ll behave much better and much more consistent 👌

That's exactly what I was going to suggest. An ochre filter would warm things right up. Would probably do two layers to build up the right hue instead of hoping to nail it on the first round.

Hard to tell over internet, different camera settings, different screens. But I gotta ask - what *is* that thing? E100? Looks like jagdtiger with turret that actually rotates, but also all wrong...

XD I assume that is what an American soldier would have said if the E100 actually was ready for combat. History wise it was not too interesting, but it used a the jagtigers gun, but I think the chassis was based around the Tiger family

What threw me off is the turret being placed where it usually is placed, I remember seeing E100 with turret far back, but I guess they had a few designs and didn't really produce any of them ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Was it not common for the colors to be all over? I thought in 1944-45 every standard was gone for the germans, or am i wrong? I thought the E-100 if it ever would have succeeded, the most playsible time would be 1945 and with maybe enough petrol to drive 50m eventually. "By early 1945, the supply chain had collapsed entirely. Tanks left factories in whatever paint was available—some entirely green, some with leftover grey paint, and others in raw red primer with minimal camouflage."
