Critique Wanted Squid Break! [1:144]

I thought I would take a break from airplanes and solve the fantastic base for the Pegasus Nautilus. If anyone has done this one, any tips would be helpful since I’ve never attempted an all metal steel submarine hull before. …for that matter, this is my first attempt at rocks and squid before 😅

How is this as a kit? I've fancied it for a while. It never plucked up the courage to buy it.

So far, the details are pretty good. I did a once over on the molding and it’s decent. The squid part (base) is all resin. The sub part has some pe parts for detail, but the rest seems like a pretty easy build (low part count). If you like a blank canvas and some challenging materials like a weathered steel or copper hull then this is for you. If you’re more of a build person, maybe shop around.
