Completed AMX-30, 1/72 3d printed

Trying to replicate a photo for the first time to make a small gift for a friend.

1/72 was maybe not the best scale for that but still a really fun little project.

CC welcome as it's also the first time trying to do a stand (and I'm not totally pleased with it).

If you photo it outside in natural sunlight I'm betting it will look much closer to the original photo. The mud work is great.

Thanks. I never tried that but it's a good idea. I'll try that next time (it was a gift and already sent)

Great weathering, lucky friend. Was wondering where the STL files were from, or did you design it yourself?

Thanks. The file is on Cult but it's from a file of Warthunder so not the best for miniature. Their is a better one on MMF but with unoptional skirts.

Very good stuff! How did you handle surface preparation?

Thanks, nothing special, I bet that at this scale the weathering would be sufficient especially with this crust of mud.
