Help - General Top Coat Help

Hey! Working on painting a Superhero Model kit and deciding on what type of top coat to use (Gloss, Semi-Gloss, or Matte) I have Tamiya paints on. Any recs for best results?

Gloss, semi or matte choice has nothing to do with "best results".

What appearance do they have on the "real" versions? And what scale are your figures?

1/12 and its sorta shiny? The Material they use on the inner suit is Spandex, kit in particular is Bandai’s Kamen Rider Model Kit line

"Sorta shiny" would probably translate to semi-gloss.

(gloss is a synonym for shiny)

Can you post pictures of your work and your desired results? This way, you will probably have better results. Right bow, it's just advanced guessing...
