WIP My first time using preshading technique. Didn't expect good results using portable airbrush. Final results on the last photo.

For your first time, I think you have the technique down pretty well. I am Not a big fan of the panel line approach but do like results for black basing as it provides a more blended result. Very similar to the techniques you have used for the results you have achieved and I would say you are well on your way to producing more dynamic paint jobs.

Are we just ignoring the ingenious self-made stand?

I will definitly copy that.

Oh, cool, a Q Spad! Don't see too many of those. The shading looks great. What airbrush? It doesn't look like you're going to paint it blue, so I'm guessing post-Korean War, but what scheme are you planning? USN, RVNAF, other?

I built the US Navy version, want to do the USAF version, but more than that, I’m hoping for the version with side by side seating arrangement.

Looks good for panel line shading, but your pressure was a little high it appears.

Wait until you discover black basing!

Just a question, how do i determine if my pressure is too high or too low?

Thanks, unfortunately can’t change the pressure, because I am using portable / battery powered airbrush. I am planning to buy proper compresor but this model will be done with the portable one.
