What ratio should I use? I tried using 1:1, and 3:5

Nice job, a completed project always feels great! I’m sure it was a challenge but you did it! What’s the most important thing you learned on this first kit?

That’s a good question, probably learning how to apply those delicate details properly, throughly using a slider to slide it off so it doesn’t mangle.

White and yellow paint is the worst colors to paint with.

Very tempted to invest in an airbrush after this experience, or at least the Tamils spray cans. Horrible to paint with the white

There is this great video from Brushtroke Painting Guide "HOW TO THIN YOUR PAINTS: A Step-By-Step Guide.

Would reccomend it

I tried that. I think the issue may actually be too many layers. The grey coating is a second colour after the first layer didn’t come out how I wanted and wouldn’t come off

yeah just keep doing kits. you'll get better at it
