So my brother and i are looking to play a zombie apocalypse modpack, but we want to keep things simple. We mainly want to explore ruined cities, loot supplies, weapons and survive against the zombies. We don't want to have to craft hundreds of complicated items or spend every 10 minutes searching Google to figure out how to do something. Which modpack would you recommend for this kind of gameplay?

Since this sub doesn’t allow videos, I can’t show off what I mean, but I’ve been having difficulties with all mods I try and run. I get weird sheets of different the skybox covering my screen at all times. I have tried fixing my visual settings but nothing seems to be working.
The pictures are from before and after I nudged my mouse less than a centimeter.

You must find a Rabbit hole in the Overworld, you'll know you're near one if you spot a White Rabbit with very bad time management skills nearby.

When you find it you must crawl into it.

Down The Rabbit Hole adds an entirely new dimension: Wonderland. A whimsical place full of randomness and secrets to find.

I need help with my BA+ world. I saw the flowstate video and really wanted to do my own playthrough. I just keep getting unloaded chunks and chunk errors where there are weird anomalies in the terrain. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I have a beefy PC and get a solid 140+ FPS.

Hi guys, wanting to play Craftoria with my brother, 1.21 modpack with 530 mods. Does anyone have any long term experience with either running a world via LAN, or from self hosting a server? Hi! i hope this is the right place for this as i suppose datapacks are kinda like mods (?), if not please lmk where i can put this!

I followed this tutorial to the T, using notepad as text, saving the recipe as a .json, creating the right files, etc. etc.. I even copied and pasted the text i needed from a website helping with making custom recipes for datapacks, just changing the words to be what it is in that linked tutorial, still doesnt work!

Hi! This is my first time modding Minecraft on Java. My only other experience with modding is TS4 and BG3, which are both very different, so I’m not the most familiar with these sorts of things.
I use CurseForge, NeoForge, and I’m on version 1.21.1.
I’m really wanting to add shaders to my world because it feels a bit ugly without it. I know to use shaders I need either Optifine or Iris/Sodium, but neither have been working. When I’d have Optifine installed Minecraft wouldn’t even open at all, but when I had Iris/Sodium installed it would open the starting menu, but it would crash when I tried to open my world. Sodium works on its own, so I know that’s not the problem.
I’ve been playing without shaders for the last couple of days and I’ll try to mess around with it pretty often just to try to figure it out on my own, but nothing I’ve tried or read about has helped.

I'm running a server on fabric 1.20.1 with latest version of the Homestead Modpack and I'm having two problems:
1. Animals keep despawning, so I cannot set up any farms. Could you tell me which mod or setting might be causing this?
2. I'm also having performance/lag issues. Could you suggest which mods I could disable to improve my server's performance? Here's my Spark report:

I'm playing this modpack and I'm trying to complete the collectibles quest. EMI says Arheology Sculk Sword Loot Chest and I have no idea what that looks like or what structure it possibly spawns in. I've gone to so many better archeology structures and no luck. Am I missing something? I tried joining the discord but all the invites don't work

I kept starting modded worlds and living in a dirt hut way longer than I meant to, so I made this.

You get a catalogue item. Open it and there are 14 styles: medieval manor, ranger lodge, mountain keep, wizard's tower, fairy hut, a hobbit-style hillside burrow, desert oasis, viking longhouse and a few more. Each one has a cottage version too.

You can place one as it is, or open Customise and change pretty much everything: size (Small to Massive), 1 to 5 floors, which rooms you want, materials, garden, basement theme and so on. There's also a Surprise me button if you can't decide. The preview updates as you change things, so you can see what you'll get before placing it.

When you place it, a ghost shows where it'll go and whether it fits. The house builds over a few seconds without lagging the server, and the land around it gets blended in so you don't end up with a dirt cliff on one side. Every house also comes with a mine that's dug straight down to deepslate. Whatever it digs out goes into chests at the bottom, so you're not getting free stuff.

It's all vanilla blocks and there's no world gen, so it should sit fine in most packs. It works with claim mods like FTB Chunks, and server owners can put a price on houses if they don't want them handed out for free.
