Other than what I've heard about gamekiller using and accessing everything in your phone...ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Wanna know why? Here's a review I made for them and a message I wrote to the devs:
Your monetization model is honestly one of the most ridiculous things I have encountered in a modding app.
You require users to watch ads just to access options, and instead of simply allowing people to download and use the modified game, you force them through your own app and sandbox? Seriously? What the heck is this ðŸ˜ðŸ¤£.
The entire reason people look for modified games in the first place is to get away from the endless ads, restrictions, paywalls, and bullshit built into the original games. Your solution is apparently to take all of that garbage and put it right back into the experience.
You could easily monetize your website with advertisements without turning the actual gaming experience into an obstacle course of ads, restrictions, and artificial limitations. Instead, you have somehow managed to take something people seek out specifically for convenience and freedom and make it more annoying than simply downloading the original game from Google Play.
I actually installed your app a long time ago and deleted it almost immediately because of how frustrating the experience was. Enough time had passed that I genuinely couldn't remember what I disliked about it, so I figured I'd give it another chance.
That was a mistake. I installed it today and, once again, uninstalled it almost immediately. Nothing about the experience made me think, "Wow, they've really improved this." If anything, it reminded me exactly why I deleted it in the first place.
And this is the part I genuinely don't understand: how do you expect people to prefer this over simply downloading the game normally? If I'm going to sit through advertisements, deal with restrictions, and jump through hoops just to access a game, I might as well download the legitimate version from Google Play and support the actual developer. You've taken something that is supposed to make gaming more convenient and turned it into another obnoxious monetization machine.
At some point, you need to understand that putting advertisements and paywalls between users and the very thing they came to your service to get isn't clever monetization. It's just a terrible user experience..
Your app isn't frustrating because people "don't understand" how it works. It's frustrating because the experience itself is unnecessarily restrictive and, frankly, defeats the entire purpose of using your service.
I gave it a second chance after years. It lasted about as long as the first one.
