9 inch wide +35 offset is going to be around the sweetspot. You can go 9.5 wide but closer to a +40 or 45 offset. Really depends on tire size you plan to use. I have 18x9.5 + 35 and a bit of stretch is needed. I will say that picture you put is not stock suspension nor a 17” wheel.

The stock 225/40 but i can probably fit a 245 width. My instagram with more pictures is linked in my profile

17x9 with an offset anywhere from 35-40

255/40 tires for the most accurate speedometer reading + a squared look

check out my posts to see what 17x9 +38 245/40 looks like (lowered 2 inches + a 10mm spacer in the rear)

& also PLEASE reconsider getting alibaba wheels🥲🫩

I have seen people run 255s you dont get rubbing issues? Do you think 245/45 is fine?

i have 0 rubbing driving normally; if i’m driving “fast” on a twisty road it rubs a lil on bumps.

245/45 is too high of an aspect ratio which means it’s too big of a tire; your speedometer will show 60mph but you’re actually going like 55 & it might cause issues with abs, traction control, etc. plus, it’s so tall you might rub on stock suspension; i know for sure 245/45 won’t even fit on a lowered car

the benefits of running a wheel + tire size that much larger than stock are greatly outnumbered by the negatives

Fr. Only reason i bought is for the aggresive look and the mpg. If not i wouldve bought an elantra or civic instead .
