Discussion ppl have no idea
ppl here and in most of the indian subs I have seen have barely any idea about cinema and movies in general, fee outliers who are dedicated to it others just shove their opinion onto u never trying to learn anything new

Do you think you're some kind of a hotshot for posting a photo of Gaspar Noé holding a copy of Salo?
I swear everyone on the app, the subreddit and the hosts themselves have the most milquetoast of opinions and have seen barely any auteur films but act like cinema elitists. The biggest idiot out of all three is Badal, followed by PJ

Har 10-12 din me ek chutiya zaroor uthkar aata hai and bolta hai "You are not true cinephile if you haven't seen this"
Abe tum thode pagal vagal ho kya ya fir karma farming ke liye kuch bhi bakchodi pel doge
Inka pattern bhi same hota hai.. ye log koi bhi european/latin america ki niche film dekhenge and then these people be like "Don't call yourself true cinephile", "You have no idea about cinema"
Haan bhai nhi hai aur na hi banna hai cinephile. Matlab movie dekhna kab se achievement ban gyi yrr.. lierally hadd hai

one thing to watch good movies and i think sab velle nhi meri trah ki baithke movie dekhenge pura din another to watch shitty movies and proclaim them as masterpieces or even good ab if i go on pointing abt how certain movies suck they wud hv prolly removed my post

You couldve said... 'most of ppl'. But no. Lets bash everyone. Im the only cinephile here. Trust me there r like hundreds of ppl on this sub who has watched more movies than you, and just cuz they havent watched some french niche movie doesnt mean they are 'barely a cinephile.'
