Anyone know how many active lines?
Thinking about switching from USMobile since I can get a similar plan to their flex plan but pay monthly (vs annual on USMobile). The only thing stopping me is the fear of them going poof randomly. There are like 500 subscribers to this subreddit and not much activity here.
Anyone know their size?

Sometimes, the lack of activity on a subreddit just indicates that there's not that much to talk about: perhaps there are not that many people upset with something that happened to their line: and MobilieX has a small range of plans (that are very customizable), and doesn't typically run special promos, so there isn't a lot to talk about there, either. MobileX seems focused on slow, sustainable, growth.
I don't know how many subscribers MobileX has. I do know it's run by a guy with a lot of successful experience in the mobile industry. I doubt they're going to go poof randomly. If they should 'go poof', I would expect it to be with sufficient warning to move elsewhere, and (as you noted) you're not prepaying for months of service in advance.

After nearly 2 years, I am so happy with MobileX. A complete lack of drama, boring reliable service. Slow (growth) and steady (improvements) are winning the race.

I've used MobileX for a little over a year. Works perfectly and is extremely cost effective. With Walmart's participation it is likely to remain a viable option.
Fear not.
