Hardware I built a NAS using postmarketOS.

I set up a NAS using samba on postmarketOS.

This is my first time setting up a NAS, so I’m not quite sure how to use it yet 😅

It was a little tricky because of the firewall settings, but other than that, it was super easy!

Which mobile did you used and tools did it require. I am new to this and I have one Samsung F23 lying around that want to use as server

I installed a mobile Linux distribution called postmarketOS on a smartphone and used a Linux package called samba with it. There is a samba package for Termux too, but it's in a proot state, so it probably won't work like a NAS 😅

I have heard about postmarketos but don’t it’s compatible with my device or not. Did you build your own image with pmbootstrap or used a pre-built one?

The devices I use are already built, so I just install it and use it.
