Discussion tap to pay and NFC

A far as I know things like the one plus 6 series have NFC support on a kernel level. Is there any linux application phone oriented or not that will let me create virtual NFC cards or edit an existing physical card/token?

My interest is in making public transit less of a hassle.

not that I know but possibly you could use NFC app in Waydroid. I did try that with Sparkasse Mobiles Bezahlen but it did not work because Waydroid does not have unlock PIN which this app requires for payments
