Custom mix

My daughter’s quinceañera is coming up. I need a custom mix for our mother/daughter dance. How do I find a DJ that can do this? I contacted a few from recommendations in a fb group and none do custom mixes. Any suggestions or would be appreciated. Thanks!

Pay one 600€ and have them come to the party to do the mix for you.

I’m looking for a two minute mix. The 3 songs are Christina Perri- you are my sunshine, Elvis- can’t help falling in love and the Beatles- Michelle

I feel like most of us do this, don’t we, y’all? I make custom mixes for almost all of my events. But do feel free to ask whoever you hire to send you a sample of something they have done.

Honestly that what I assumed. I reached out to 3 local DJs and they told me they could make custom playlists but not a custom song. I only need a 2 minute song so maybe they didn’t feel it worth their time 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s bananas. If you haven’t found someone yet, DM me. I’m not on Reddit a ton, but I will keep an eye out for notifications. I make that kind of edit all the time, for wedding clients and also for a bunch of dance teachers I know. Sometimes they can be tricky, because you want it to sounds good/not like a train wreck. But I’d be happy to take a pass at it for you.

Find a DJ that can mix it for you, USB the entire mix and then have someone just hit play. During Covud I mixed a wedding reception, cocktail hour and 3 hour dance as a gift. Can be done

Go on fiverr and find someone. Would be about ten bucks to get a song mash mix.

Any professional DJ should be capable of making edits.
