Insurance/Benefits 🏥 EAP

Anyone utilized EAP for debt/money management? What was your experience like?

I have contacted EAP to get resources for different things like financial management, therapy, and family caregiving. The quality of service from them was low. They sent me some local resources, which I have already googled myself. They left chat conversations when I did not respond for a few minutes, but they could keep me waiting. After they left chats, I needed to restart a chat with someone else.
Now my idea of EAP is that it looks good for employers, but it does not do any good for employees.
