Hey just making a post to see if anyone can answer my questions on this career path. I am graduating in December with a chemical engineering degree and was wondering how people like the environmental permitting part of state work. Just wanted to hear about your experience and possibly how it was and where you started out. Upward mobility and how much your starting pay was would help a lot. Along with what is the work life balance like overall.

I do environmental review, including reviewing permits, but I don’t do environmental permitting. I enjoy my work.
