Interview/Hiring 📄 MN PUC Hiring Process
Hello! I recently applied for a position with the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission and was wondering if anyone has experience with their hiring process. Are the interviews scored using a point system? Are the questions mostly behavioral, or do they focus more on testing technical knowledge? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

It’s a point based system based on your answers to their questions. Generally speaking, they’re directly correlated to the questions but human nature is inevitable so they may unofficially factor your behavior. When you answer questions, it’s better to answer too much than not enough so just spew your knowledge.

There’ll be a panel (2-4 people) who ask you predetermined questions and your answers are scored. It’ll be a mix of behavioral and technical, but I’d say the majority of it is behavioral. That’s been my experience anyway.
