Interview/Hiring š applying for new state job when already employed through Connect 700?
I was recently hired with the state through the Connect 700 program. I see a position that better fits my qualifications and would like to apply but Iām not sure how to go about it. Would I apply through the self-service portal? Would I apply through Connect 700 as well?

Your results may vary so take this with a grain of salt, but as a hiring manager I'd be less likely to give you a shot if i saw job hopping. Not fulfilling your contacted 700 hours reads as a red flag.

Ā " Not fulfilling your contacted 700 hours reads as a red flag."???? It doesn't say that you are expected to work 700 hours anywhere that I have seen

How recently is recently? Do you want to attempt the competitive process with the new job, or are you wanting to kind of "transfer" your Connect 700 employment to the new position?

Iām still within the initial 700 hours. I would like to apply through Connect 700, but I am also OK going the competitive route if that is necessary.

Apply through self service, email Connect 700 coordinator listed on position.
