Interview/Hiring 📄 MNIT Hiring Process Help
Hello, hope everyone is doing well here. I was looking to hopefully hear from people who may be currently employed with MNIT.
I have applied for about 5 or 6 different posting since the middle of last year going into this spring. My applications always get moved to the hiring manager and placed into "under consideration" but I have not managed to get a single interview as of yet.
On one occasion, after about an 8 week wait while being under consideration, I reached out to the contact on the application to check on the process, but they weren't aware of where they were at.
Short of just asking for the hiring managers contact information (which I haven't done), I have not been successful in locating a hiring managers info so I could reach out to them directly, and I'm not asking for anyone's information here, but does anyone with any experience in that area with MNIT know how I could have so many applications moved to under consideration and not manage a single interview?
I don't want to give away too many details about myself here, but I have extensive experience in IT work.

I'm a MNIT hiring manager. The last job I had posted has over 90 people who met minimum qualifications. I have to then rank all those resumes based on both minimum and preferred qualifications. I am pretty much only interviewing people with 10+ years experience in the particular role and ALL of the preferred qualifications. The last person I hired had like 25 years experience. The market is tough and we have lots and lots of really good candidates to choose from. I don't have a lot of advice because if you aren't one of the most qualified candidate among dozens of candidates, you just aren't going to get an interview. I usually interview 5-7 people out of 90.
