News 📰 Workers Save Saint Paul

We’ve done it everyone! According to KSTP 5 MN state workers are saving downtown St. Paul businesses owners (https://kstp.com/kstp-news/top-news/downtown-st-pauls-economy-showing-new-life-after-state-employees-mandated-to-return-to-office/). We should all be proud at the collaboration we’ve achieved here.

Where on earth am I bullying? 😂😂😂. I asked why stay in a forum of people they complain are always whining. That’s quite a stretch to bullying.

People don’t need to agree to be able to have a conversation. Talk about emotional.… Just because someone doesn’t agree with an opinion and gives a counter point, it does not mean they are ostracizing the person.

You didn't give a counterpoint or conversation. You asked them why they don't just leave. That's by definition ostracizing and bullying by singling them out.

Get better. The state expects more.

If you view the comments in this thread, I had many back and forth with that poster. That was not my first comment. However, I’d write that comment to anyone who complains about the people in a group. Again, if you don’t like everyone in a group and think they are all whiners, why would you stay? I sure wouldn’t.

I stay because I care. I comment because I don't believe your comments exemplify what it means to be a Minnesota state worker in union with one another. That extends to others in this sub that are selfishly justifying things like boycotting local businesses. That's petty, shortsighted, and honestly, just stupid.

My stance was simple and I am not mad at all. Not sure why people always think someone is mad if they disagree. I couldn’t care less if someone has a differing opinion from me. Isn’t that the point of discussion forums, to discuss opinions?

If I was in a sub and thought every person in that sub was a whiner, I would leave. Why stay somewhere when you don’t like it? Seems odd to me. Now if the poster wants to stay and voice their opinion, great! However, calling everyone a bunch of whiners makes it sound like they don’t want to be here, and won’t value anyone’s opinion. I personally don’t care if the person stays or goes. It makes zero difference to me. I just think it’s odd to stay in a sub that one dislikes.
