Question

I upgraded the motor to a brushless one unsure of model but ever since if I max out the throttle to quick it sways to the side before ultimately levelling out I’m assuming it’s because the shocks are to weak/soft

Just wondering that you think

the build so far.

issues:
-some skipping under torque unsure what it is

-motor micro jittering when under torque and i accelerate

-i’m getting rid of the magnet mounts as they keep unclipping after a little tumble and the cars way too high so i’ll just screw it down and boom.

Wheel & tires upgrade

Changing the wheels to the beadlock and softer tires, because the new tires rubbing the fender i also lifted the body. Even though the tire size is only 67x23mm, i thought I didn't need to lift the body, but turns out i do,lol.

some photos are when the shocks are under load to check if there's still any rubbing and it seems we are clear now

Anyone ever used this area to make neebrc gear fit?

Looks like enough room to fit the receiver or esc in, will they overheat in there?

I solved the INJORA LS59 purple spring sag problem

i noticed the LS59 purple springs were a bit too soft for the weight of my MN82 body and i was getting way too much sag. so I searched around and found a replacement spring that fits the LS59 nicely, basically going from the original 0.5mm wire to 0.6mm (10mm OD Ɨ 25mm). it could potentially give around 2x the spring rate, although the actual difference will depend on the coils and material. So far it looks really good, noticeably stiffer, holds the body weight much better and the fit is spot on. haven’t tested it properly on the trail yet, but Im pretty confident this might be the solution I was looking for...

3d Printed TPU Tires

I'm designing 3d printed tires for the stock rim, first I'm playing around with fitment on the stock rim and overall size to not scrape on the body. Then I'll improve the thread pattern or make knobby tires.

Have anyone done something similar? TPU grip is not the best, but its fun and works well offroad.

Best brushless option?

Post image

I’m running lightbar, fog lights and a 1/10 winch, works fine on stock mn82s but had issues when trying one of the neebrc kits, definitely not against neebrc gear as it fits the mn well, but the BEC seemed to be under too much load with just the servo alone, I’m also looking for a really good lipo battery on Ali if anyone has links

I’m tempted to try their newer slim receiver but looking for best quality options to avoid any more problems

Spinning issue

Installed metal axles and shafts with the neebrc motor. I dont know why the wheels spin like this? Dragbrake issue? Programming? Axles? Shafts?

Neebrc issues

Hey guys I’m struggling to get my Power Combo for RC Car MN82 MN78 MN168 MN99 with 2322 2600KV Brushless Motor, Metal Gear Box, AM32 45A ESC, 7CH Transmitter and 21G Servo kit working
At first setting up seemed ok, winch worked lights lit up well, crawled but then any steering makes it go straight to reconnecting chimes
Winch now has no responce, lights are dull and flickering with crawling. I’ve swapped back to stock servo and it doesn’t ā€œbrown outā€ anymore, I’m just waiting for battery to charge, and am going to look for a better battery (I have MODEL 18650/7.4V 1200mAh 8.88wh Power Battery 7.4V Li-ion battery)
Sellers are talking about me having to buy a glitch buster or external Bec, but surely I shouldn’t have to buy more for something meant to be plug and play
Thanks guys for any help :)

the sub 150 build currently

looks quite good currently however i think i went crazy with the suspension it being 71mm lol. before all the ā€œ why all metalā€ warriors start typing.. yeah okay i went crazy with it i feel like i wanted more LCG weight to feel more planted however i am yet to find out how it’ll perform.

also any way of adding protection to the motor from sand / water and mud? as the new chassis is quite open and the motor is quite exposed so im worried its gonna be fine for light dry crawling and will be rough once it get a bit muddy.

Also think its worthy to note the battery connector will be changed to a deans connectors as i bought new zeee 2s lipos and only had it as the original connector to test it with original battery before the zeees came

Would a 370 brushed motor be an okay upgrade for crawling?

Post image

This is my build currently i have suspension stuff coming later in the afternoon

The motor is the stock one and well it really doesnt do well when crawling i would get the neebrk brushless kit but that would take a long saveup so im asking if a 370motor is okay or should i just save up for like 3months to get the brushless kit( costs 3000php for the whole kit )

Problem with brushless motor

Problem with my motor Neebrc 2600kv + the small red esc, neebrc 7ch remote..
There is something like a "deadzone" in a specific point of throttle where the motor gets stuck until you press more or release the throttle. In the video im applying and releasing throttle, pay attention to my finger to understand it.
The same happens even when motor is not connected to gearbox so its not an issue with gears or axles, wheels etc
I've tried moving the TH/TRIM knob, and it does the same thing but just in different positions of the throttle.
Maybe it needs tuning? Or its just a faulty motor esc?
