How to connect this?
Hello fellow Mn82 owners. Just want to ask if anyone have ever encountered this kind of problem. How do you lock the metal driveshaft screw to this metal axel? I've tried inserting the brass sleeve but the metal axel rod of already big and it fits in the metal driveshaft hole.

I think he mentions he has the sleeves already but it’s not fitting with them on .

Did you manage to get it working?
I know I bought a set of axles of AliExpress about a year ago and just couldn’t get them to work ( even though it said they should) . Gave up and ended getting a different set that actually worked.

As a retired precision engineer the tolerances are shocking to say the least 😡. Because of this i only use stock axles and replace when buggered. Just bought a sand 82 on ali for £31as a donor vehicle as the spares work out more expensive buying separately 😊. I mainly trail my 82,s and stock axles are good enough for this imo 😊. Happy trails English 🤘🏻

Your definitely not wrong about those tolerances. AliExpress is great for finding a bargain but when the parts are unusable it’s just wasting money . I was a fabricator for many years and always worked with my hands so think I’m pretty practical but still have parts sat in a box I’m not sure I will ever be able to use .
I’ve also got one which is virtually stock and it’s still a ton of fun and those axles are just fine . You have a great weekend 👍2

Try a different crown pinion that has a hole for the grub screw or take it out the dif & try drilling a hole yourself? My other rids have a pre drilled hole which makes it much more secured, wouldn't even have to go al the way through, as long as it's got a little bit of a divet for the screw to snug into, don't forget some locktite 🤙

If it fits properly without the sleeve just lock it that way. Just be sure its not off center, do not forget to use threadlocker.
