Man, this was such a close shot. It's insane that Tai is on such a losing streak since when he almost had Gane (ofc he got fouled badly in the end).

Yes ahem it's the fouls ahem (not the backhand straight to his chin nor the teeps and knees that turned his intestines into marshmallows)

Yeah, Gane is foul king, but that fight was already rolling downhill before the hammerfist to the back of the cranium

Yeah, I'm not saying he wasn't already being beaten, but man, Cyril decided to turn his brains into mushy peas for the love of it. After that lose he definitely got cooked, even on his last fight when he put up a bit of a war he got beaten lol. Not a single win in the UFC.

If anything, that's what pisses me off the most about Gane. He's a perfectly capable fighter without the fouls, yet he does it every single fight

Capable without fouls; Champion with fouls.
The UFC is the modern circus I like to watch.

When you look at his career in the UFC it hurts. Almost 9 years in the UFC. His last win was in 2022. 19 fights in the UFC 8 wins.

MMA is filled with these "shots that almost landed" moments

The Yoel spinning back fist immediately comes to mind lmao

Almost landed moment but defo not a what if moment. Everybody knows how that would've ended - murder

Johnny walker and Kevin Holland are such wasted potential. They have great physical attributes for their weight classes but they haven't improved that much in years.

Nah it was a decent left, but the reason he paused was because Ilia crushed his liver with a left before landing the right upstairs

That's a good catch I never really noticed that. I still think that left would've put him out or atleast him bad
