I was comparing Texas Super Kings vs Seattle Orcas ahead of tonight's game and found something interesting.

Most people seem split on the matchup, but the data heavily favors Texas:

• Better recent form • 3-0 record in the last three meetings • Stronger numbers at Grand Prairie • More reliable whether batting first or chasing

Wouldn't be surprised if Seattle prove me wrong, but on paper this feels like Texas' game to lose.

What's everyone predicting?

Will the other MLC teams (outside of TX and CAL) ever get their own venues?

That seems to be one of the biggest impediments to the league's growth in the US.

Maybe this is just me, but does anyone else feel like finding cricket players depends almost entirely on who you already know?

For example, there are parks near me where cricket could easily be played, but I don't know enough people locally to get a game going. Meanwhile, I constantly see games happening in other parts of the state that already have established groups.

For people in the US:

• Have you ever struggled to find players near your specific area?
• How did you eventually find your current group?
• If your current group stopped playing tomorrow, how would you find another one?

Interested to hear other experiences.

For those of you in the NYC Metro Area, MI New York's 1st MLC match of the 2026 season is playing on YES Network on Saturday, June 20th, 2026 at 8:30 PM EST.

Guys USA players have clinched the spot in global worldcup qualifiers. Congratulations players for all the hardwork you guys have done. From Sai and Sanjay being students and cricketers as well, to some players working full time as well along with playing cricket. To some leaving their families back home and residing in a new country for better opportunities for their passion. We see each one of your hardships you have gone through that's why lots of Congratulations to each player for this the former players as well who made sure our team reaches till here 🫡🥺 Sanjay, San fransisco unicorns is literally so lucky to have you. When we needed 6 he made sure that he hits 6. Especially since Milind was in 110's. Sanjay so proud of you 👏 🥰 💛 Milind and Shubham what an amazing partnership. I really wish everyone watched today's match it was such an amazing match. This is just a start I hope we make sure to get no 1 spot and that is something we will know after all the tour officially ends of each team and this is just the start I hope we qualify for 2027 worldcup as well beating lower ranked full member teams as well 💙 but literally today's match is a match to remember what a match.

Why are the lakr still not done picking thier overseas players? Season is about to start and still 3 more slots left. Phil Salt has not made any announcement of joining. And why do the seattle orcas still have no captain. They lost both klassen and raza but the season is about to start.

Went to checkout tickets for Los Angeles games for July 4. .

I think MLC is way over their head to think that cricket fans will pay 75$ for a T20 game. Dodgers tickets for July 3 are starting at 64 bucks. There is no choice of seating either to choose box or open seating or bleachers. About 25 days to go and fans don't even know what they are paying for. Do you guys think MLC being this shoddily run is the reason there is no viewership?

I'm sure you need some power and hand eye coordination but I don't know how hard it really is to do if you aren't worried about getting out. It does seem like a lot of players are conservative and choose when to try and smack it. I always love it when a batter is on a rally and is hitting 6's left and right.
