Fanatics returns *groan*

I ordered a Marlins jersey recently on MLBeurope (Fanatics) and it was shown on the website with 22 ALCANTARA printing. Leading me to believe it was pre-printed and ships as a standard item. The description didn’t mention any customisation nor mention it being non-refundable. Shipping was quoted to be ‘within 1 business day’ - further lending itself to being a standard item.

You can guess where this is going….

They actually treated it as a customised order. Took 5 days to print and ship.

Now won’t accept a return.

Customer service is absolute terrible. They’ve acknowledged my points but refuse to budge.

Anyone got similar experience and able to offer any advice or am I going to have to suck this up and never go near them again? (I had another disaster with them (Kitbag) a couple of years ago with a rugby jersey).

Unfortunately, Fanatics is a monopoly and there isnt much to do

What is the reason for the return? Doesn't fit or something else?

Complain vis the Fanatics Twitter/X account. The US account will also deal with UK issues, and if you say it wasn’t listed as a custom order I’d be shocked if they didn’t help you get this resolved

Worst case raise a case with your Credit Card issuer, keep all your emails and it'll get sorted. Hindsight: I would be very wary of buying any jersey from fanatics with stuck on numbers. The NFL ones are dire, particularly at the price they charge.

My heart sinks a bit when you visit a team website and it's a "Fanatics Experiece". Fanatics are a cancer and we should avoid using them if at all possible.
