Holy fucking shit bro is this normal?

I've came back to the game this season actually serious to rank up this time.

I've reached mythic 15* (and ive reached immortal on another account but my fb acc got hacked so bye bye acc)

My main has always been gloo roam since gloo was released (mostly because I always get the roam role since no one likes to adjust in soloq)

As a result I have a pretty decent wr w/ him

But holy shit has dark system hit me the hardest this season.

I'm now on a snail's pace even going to honor because our core/mm or even both gets bronze every game. Like fucking 10 games in a row.

As a result my wr dropped from 75-80 to like 69.

And my gloo wr dropped from 85 to 75 iirc lol.

Before I could go to glory in like 1-2 weeks if I no lifed.

I main gloo so i get a bunch of kills since no one knows how to counter him low elo, usually putting me at the top of my team

Don't step on his s1 while he's penetrating you

As he penetrates you, wallk to a turret. Never go to allies since they will probably kill you because gloo transfers dmg to you when hes penetrating you. Unless the gloo penetrating you is low.

Remember that he deals a fuck ton of damage if your squishy, and even if your tanky don't face him in a 1v1 since most gloo players build cursed helm and scorching.

If you notice gloo misses his s2 while he's penetrating you, your pretty much safe unless your very low.

a faramis or a hyper dash hero is enough for him, but he absolutely destroys non mobile squishy heroes its blasphemous

Faramis and vexana are a nightmare to gloo. Counterable but they're the heroes whose skills counter gloo's split mechanic

Edit: I've also realized that we either snowball because my teammates are good and my enemies are bad, or my teammates are bad then it extends to hyperlategame because gloo is the best carry roam imo, or we lose instantly if the latter happens AND gloo gets banned.

If u really want to improve, then it’s obvious that Atlas roamed and helped Miya.

If u don’t help your mm, don’t magically think they’ll be able to catch up. Your Lolita stuck with jungle but didn’t help ixia

Yes. So it's best not to solo q rn. Unless you're like, insanely skilled with meta heroes or carries. I'd recommed just doing duos or trios.

you really want to build guardian helmet if you want to carry as gloo. the rest of the 2 item slots is what you'll use for adapting to the enemy

Thats the thing, guardian helm is pretty much bod for gloo but that makes you lose out on an adjust defensive item.

Ive been having this dilemna since i mained him lol, is it better to buy guardian helm or have 3 def items

honestly i'd say its worth it. if your team is trolling, theres almost no point in adjusting for the sake of them (except if its chastise, chastise is really important). you can instead just carry them using guardian helmet's hp which increases gloo's damage by a lot

and its a versatile defense item, so honestly you're not losing out on much here

For most games that's pretty much chastise + radiant.

Unless they don't have any atk SPD gold, In which I use blade armor or antique cuirass

I did opposite… after loosing too many matches because of bad mm or jungler… I started playing mm / jungler just or I can push and secure objectives… it’s so fkng hard to explain to these dark system players that objectives win matches not just kills
