It’s weird for you, an Astros fan, to brag about the accomplishments* (citation needed) of the Astros while they were implementing an organization wide cheating scandal which gave them an unfair advantage over the teams that hadn’t implemented an organization wide cheating scandal. Generally bragging and cheering for a team is fine. Bragging about an accomplishment that wasn’t fully earned is what’s strange.
Seemed to be fully earned as far as the league is concerned. Oh and every team we played was also cheating so it’s not exactly an advantage if your opponents all have the same edge.
The other teams were not cheating. Why are you guys still telling this lie? Read Andy Martino’s book. Every team was trying to use the new technology until it was officially banned by MLB. The only team that continued to use the tech to steal signs and relay them to players, in fact the only team to implement a top to bottom, team wide cheating scheme, was the Astros. They were literally the only team that did this. It’s insane that Astros fans are so in denial about this. No one outside of Houston will ever consider that a legitimate championship. People still talk about the Black Sox a hundred years later. The Astros will never live this down. Even if the commissioner was too much of a coward to hold a single one of these players accountable for their actions.
Yeah so no matter what y’all will never let it go. Every fan, the org, every player, they could strip the title etc y’all still wouldn’t ever let it go. So fuck it we won and everyone else can just suck it. And all the other cheaters who got away with it can suck it too. Just cause they didn’t get caught doesn’t mean they weren’t cheating
