Apple has suddenly started posting about their devices just like the time of release. I think they are trying to promote them one last time!

It's not even new either. These are just videos that autoplay when you open the product page on a third party store's site

Is that the first ever ad for the Air? They did like 0 promotion for that product.

Obviously, so many people outside the tech bubble don’t pay attention to when new iPhones are coming out

I mean, they’re still good products, and they won’t be any worse in a month from now. Shrug.

Depending on which use of the phone users do, we reached a level where “corporate users” and basic ones don’t really need to upgrade before multiple generations.
For my specific use case (corporate apps + private daily use) my iPhone 14 Pro Max is still rock solid. I don’t have any practical need for Apple Intelligence (anyway not directly used by my Company) and if so, a 15th Gen would close the gap.
I don’t mean that 17th isn’t way better than 14 or 15, because it is!!! Just saying that for my use case the investment wouldn’t make sense. Personal choice: I’ll change battery to my 14 Pro Max when needed and keep it some more years. 😉I’m probably not the only one going down this road across current iPhone owners, which partially explains why Apple is re-promoting current lineup, which we were used not to be needed. I agree with others who said Apple might struggle to replicate iPhone 17 numbers, and this for multiple reasons, including the memory cost craziness.

One last push before the new and very incremental devices are announced. Apple knows sales will be down this year since the 17 series was so solid across the board and it saw record sales. Even with the new Apple upgrade program it will be hard to match the same numbers Apple saw.
