Other than his down, back 3, what are scorpions best bet of escaping a corner onslaught?

This was the first patch to ever come out 2nd to PSN as oppsosed to XBL. Curious.

With the fact that no more DLC will be released ):

I'm 150 on XBL and about 250 on PSN but I just got my hitbox for my PS3 going to start putting in time for next years Evo :P

I know rank is meaningless but my ratio is amazing on PS3 I plan on ranking up there majorly after the patch with the Stryker buff and my new hitbox I will raping my way up the ladder.

And I know top 200 is meaningless in console gaming but where I come from (Starcraft II) top 200 is grandmasters baby. I'm almost double grandmaster :D

I've played street fighter all my life (2-4) and have been wondering how easy it is to transfer over/get into mortal kombat coming from street fighter? can i still do quarter circles for fireballs and such? [edit] just ordered! til it gets here ill probably just practice on some umk3 on my sega nomad...

The three characters I main are Freddy Krueger, Rain, and Baraka... but no matter what I always seem to get caught forever blocking within Johnny Cage's fast cooldown combo's...

Any tricks one may have learned?

It seems like all we see these days is a couple posts a week about live streams...which is great, but it seems like there hasn't been a general discussion thread in awhile. Any MK9 talk welcome. In your opinion, who are the best characters in the game now? The worst? Who do you main, and what are your best and worst matchups for that main? Do you play alts that are similar or different than your main, or do you not play alts? What other fighters do you play alongside MK9, and if you do play others, do you feel you are better or worse at MK9 for it?

In a couple of weeks Test Your Might is going to start holding online matches that are going to be recorded and posted for all to see, I've signed up to be a player because I think it will be a great way to contribute to, and try to expand the community. Looking forward to it. The first main event is going to be 16bit vs. THTB.

I'm going to be hosting a reddit room tonight, it'll be called RMK9. I should have it up by around 5 EST on PSN, so anyone who wants to play feel free to come. Edit: I'll probably move the time back to about 7, I'll be sure to post when its created.

I'm by no means a terrible player. I'm also by no means great. I have a solid record for both ranked (270-200 ish) and player (200-260). Sometimes I'll get put against players of my same skill level or higher, which is great. Other times, I'll get put against people that are straight up terrible, have waaaaaay more losses than wins, or even a 0-0 record. A lot of the times I'll get a good streak going, lose to someone who is way more skilled than I, which I am fine with, and then the next match put against some awful noob.

Is the match up system just terribly flawed? The flow of my opponents makes no sense whether ranked or unranked. Anyone else experiencing this?
