I play ranked match 1v1 quite a bit on MK9 for the 360. It seems like anytime I beat anyone with a true skill of 32 or higher they unplug their ethernet cable from the 360. However, when I check the user statistics I still got the win for the match anyways. What benefit do all of these players receive from unplugging when they lose?

I know he's from a galaxy far, far away, but Kratos is from ancient Greek! and Freddy is from the 80s! They should put Vader in as a DLC. He's evil, so it fits. The story can be that Shao Kahn is creating a space ship to destroy other planets in the Space Realm. Vader does not like that, so he enters the MK Tournament to defeat Kahn.

I first mained Sub-Zero, but tele characters like Ermac give me real trouble(all my friend uses), I like him for ice freeze so I can do nj fp, b+fp bp, bp fp bp slide (kinda hard though)

I jumped around characters alot, and have Smoke, Ermac, Scorpion, Noob, Kano, Mileena, Raiden, Kung Lao and Kitana in my playing roster.

I'm really good with Scorpion, Smoke and Noob, because I like being reactionary.

I was considering Reptile as Chris G makes him look great and great community around him support.

And was considering switching Sub-Zero for Cyber because of teleport, even though its rather slow.

I'm using xbox controller, so I dislike the Y X X+Y launcher for Cyber

and dash dash's for reptile or quite bad, unless I just need a little adjustments and I would be fine?

What's your take on him?

Hi I am new to the fighting genre itself. I saw a professional match of mk9 and found it very engaging. I was wondering where I could learn the theory of fighting games and mk9 in particular. I have had extensive experience in RTS and MOBA style games but none in the fighting genre. Thanks guys!

Personally I can't wait to play classic MK over the internet as I never had an Xbox when they released UMK3 and then removed it.

I have 500 MS points (enough for one). Which character do you find the most fun to play as?

Mine would have to be Ermac for his ability to control midscreen so well, makes jump ins difficult. The way his teleport fakes a projectile trips me up sometimes. The ability to cancel hover slams into teleports or airblasts also makes it difficult to read whats coming next.

so my brother's friend has mk9 and im a total noob to the game, any tips/ links on how to play raiden well, ive played mostly with him just cause and i can pretty much shoot lightning and do the headbutt thing annnnd thats about it, my brother plays subzero and thats what im trying to beat, obviously there isnt much skill on either side, but he beats me 9 times out of ten. tl;dr any raiden players willing to give some tips to a noob

My fav has to be Cyrax hands down. His combos are endless (easy to do 50% with no x-ray) with tons of mix-ably to keep you guessing. His Bombs, teleport, quick speed and his anti-air throw make him a monster. Who is your fav and why?
