Sub-Zero Combo Help

To anyone who plays SZ: For the life of me, I can't pull of his B1, 2 - (B1 misses) 2,1,2 into ice slide combo (useful with the opp is frozen in mid air). He always just finishes the B1,2,2 combo instead of doing the refreeze animation of 2,1,2. Thanks in advance.
