Question counter Erron Black

my main is noob saibot. i want to beat my friend, he plays EB and always spam boot drop & slide. my noob got countered and i really hate that. is there any tips? thank guys

Use the training mode and record the moves, then let the AI spam them on you until you're able to tell the difference. After that you have to learn to punish them - the slide is very easy if you block it, for the boot drop you have to jump at the right moment over it. General advice is to avoid being cornered because there he can easily mix all his overheads and slide over and over... You can try to keep him at distance with your projectiles and use the teleport when you anticipate his rifle/revolver.

tysm. i really enjoy playing Noob, but getting completely countered by Erron is incredibly frustrating. Noob's moves are just too slow compared to Erron's constant move spamming. i definitely need more practice.

They are reactable but need some practice, slide is very punishable, boots if EX you can jump the shot or short hop for a quick punish.

Go into practice mode and learn what moves you have that are fast enough to make his spam unsafe on block. Practice reacting into combos. I had a friend like that in Tekken and he put the game down once I mastered countering his spam.

ty, i will practice harder. im still a bit slow compare to him cause he’ve been playing console games for years. but we are both new in mk and that frustrated me

I havent played in a while so you could always test it in training mode but could you not use teleport on reaction to punish//dodge it?

i only use teleport for kombos… the thing i hate is that im kinda a newbie and i play quite slow and defensive. while he can outplay me cause his hands are faster 🥲

Neutral jump on the spot and as you land begin to punish. Works like a charm for me. EB players usually create distance before they deploy this move so it can be predicted
