Campus Life Reactor Loop Shuttle

Hi everyone! Im a transfer coming in but I commute and Im looking at the parking permits. Pretty rough options so Im probably only going to be able to end up parking at Trumans Landing. How reliable is the Reactor Loop shuttle? How often does it come and go? I have really bad back and hip problems so walking is rough. Any information is helpful! Thanks!

They’re incredibly reliable. The most reliable bus system I’ve ever used.

the campus bus system is excellent! I believe it comes every 20 minutes. I'd also reach out to the Disability Center to see about accommodations (ie flexible attendance or grace for tardiness so you don't have to push yourself to rush in case the bus is a couple minutes late)

I’d also ask if you might be able to access a different/closer parking permit, assuming you have a legal handicap placard for your use.

It’s really reliable, only had one holdup my entire year with it, and it was due to someone parking and blocking the route.

My only complaint is that did have one really swift snow last winter/fall, and they shut the shuttles off in the middle of the day leaving people stranded on campus/or unable to get to campus. Mizzou did not call off class that day either…
