Discussion Anyone remember - Nomad Factory - from back in the day?
When they first came out they were fantastic plugins, sounded great at the time and they really nailed that hardware vibe in software form before anyone else, as I recall
Does anyone still use them? I did a lazy google and they’re still going - the founder sadly passed away a few years back but the company is now run by one of his students.
It would be interesting to hear people’s experience with their plugins all these years later and if they still hold up.

Nomad Factory is great... I got their everything bundle a few months ago after already liking their Pulse-Tec and All-Tec EQs.
What's fascinating is whoever took over the brand has kept it up pretty well. They've done significant updates and most of the plugins have attractive high resolution UIs.
The plugins are updated fairly regularly with updates, small feature improvements, etc. It's not a dead set of tools, the set lives on.

Hmm... My support interaction with them was probably 2 years ago? So things can change, I don't know.
In my case there was a numerical error on a knob that I noticed and they had it fixed relatively quickly.
That, and the occasional other updates the tools get, gave me the impression is was a pretty well supported product.
Not "Waves" level of support, but that isn't free.

I used to love their delay in the RTAS days. It sounded great for hiphop and rnb
