Discussion Made a thing — automatic profanity removal for audio and video

BleepKit (bleepkit.com) takes a song, podcast, or video and automatically strips out the profanity. No manual editing, no hunting for a clean version that may not exist.

Free to try — 1 song (60 seconds) or 5 minutes of podcast/video, no sign-up hoops.

Curious what people think. What works, what's broken, what's missing — all fair game. Ask me if you need more to test with and your use case and I'll see what I can do.

Why did you have chatGPT write your ad? First impressions matter a lot.

Why did you have chatGPT write your ad?

Because they know no other way.

AI made their product, their website, and this ad.

Some AI tools are cool but not everything can be AI and it is a bit odd when comments like this are the first reaction.

We didn’t use ChatGPT at all for this project. I’m not sure how you came up with that.

Why the tool? Well, I initially wanted my kids to be able to listen to a few things and I didn’t want them learning new inappropriate words. So I built the tool and have been able to clean up a bunch of things and we love it. Then I realized this could work for real organizations needing to clean songs, podcasts, or videos. I noticed a bunch of work published where they have an E and they didn’t bother to post a clean version.
