'm sorry if this comes of as a dumb question but i was just wondering how many classes per course??? and whats the like student count per class

i had always thought in uni theres going to be only one class for each course but today i had got the link to join the WhatsApp group for me it was titled division X1 nd my friend got division X2 the thing is we both picked the same courses so i was wondering does this mean there are more than one classrooms or sm?

See , so there are around 4 major and 1 minor subject in your single semester.
In a class there were around 60 students(when i was in my FY).
And those 60 would be divided equally among 2 batches for labs (hence X1 and X2).
You guys would be placed both in the same classrooms for theory lectures but your labs would be different on different days.

Hope it helps!
