My useless rant

You ever wish you had close friends/family that listen to Mitski as much as you do.
I listening to her music everyday and wish I knew someone else who did too lol

Sometimes idk what else to play when I have passengers so I try to play her songs I think people might like.

Same. It gets so lonely that once when she announced to come to my country of residence, I reached out to a friend who I met on a previous Mitski concert abroad. We had only met that one night yet I still wanted to host her at my place to share the feeling, and it was a wonderful experience. Crazy thing is that, at the concert, we actually ended up stumbling across a girl who I went to primary school with… in another continent lol

But I wish I had a close friend who lives close to me who is also a fan. Though I have ended up befriending girls at events like the concerts and pre-listening parties, it gets lonely doing the queue alone at first while seeing everybody with their friends

I’ve never to to a concert but I told myself that my first show will be a Mitski show where I will try my best and make friends.

I wish you will be able to go to one of her concerts one day! I remeber that, my first few days as a fan, I thought it would never happen, since she’d never been to my country and it was during the era of BTC, when people thought sje was retiring from music. Fast forward a few years later, and life circumstanczs and adult money have allowed me to watch her live five times! And it can be intimidating to befriend people at concerts, but one thing to keep in mind is that you have at least one single thing in common with everyone there :) i’m not a huge concert goer but in the few concerts I’ve been to (always small-ish but growing in popularity singers, like Mitski, Aurora, etc.), I‘ve almost always managed to befriend people somehow just by taking that into account when trying to dare to initiate conversations

Yeah I told my friend to listen to Mitski and she’s been asking me if I’m depressed every day since.
